One of our partnership SEN schools in South Manchester are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team!

In this role you will:

  • Provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis to children with complex needs
  • To provide support to the class teacher and help to assess children’s learning
  • Help to produce a safe and engaging learning environment for children
  • Offer praise and encouragement to children

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or care setting
  • A kind and caring personality
  • The ability to be proactive and show initiative in the classroom
  • Personal care, moving and handling or BSL (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
