Job Opportunity: Year 6 Teacher (Temporary Position)

Position Duration: Summer term

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher looking for a temporary opportunity in Hemel Hempstead? We have an exciting position available for a passionate Class Teacher to join our team and support a local primary school. The role is a maternity cover and will begin from 15th April. You will work alongside two Teaching Assistants, with PPA time scheduled on Monday mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the existing teacher to plan and deliver lessons up to the Summer.
• Assume day-to-day teaching responsibilities from Easter half term until July.
• Compile school reports before the existing teacher's departure.
• Work collaboratively with the support staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to seamlessly integrate into an existing classroom setup.
• Strong organisational skills to manage day-to-day responsibilities.
