GSL Education are actively helping local schools in Bournemouth and Christchurch who are in the pursuit of a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Day-to-DaySupply Teacher to inspire and support primary school pupils in the absence of their class teacher.

 
As a Day-to-DaySupply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing support, contributing to the growth and development of pupils. The role involves covering for teachers who are absent, and providing excellent teaching so that pupils continue to flourish and learn in the absence of their class teacher. This is your chance to make a difference while enjoying the flexibility and variety that comes with being a Day-to-DaySupply Teacher. While the schools primarily caters to mainstream education, you may be called upon to cover for necessary classrooms where pupils display diverse emotional, behavioural or social difficulties. Therefore, any prior experience or knowledge of SEN is highly desirable. You will work collaboratively with support staff to ensure that pupils are supported, nurtured and inspired.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

  • Hold a PGCE /QTS/QTLS
  • Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
  • Be prepared to cover a range of subjects including your subject specialism
