Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher to work in a local primary school in Weston-Super-Mare on a full-time basis to start in September 2024.

About the role

The Primary Teacher will be working with a KS2 class and will take responsibility for the learning and progress of pupils through their delivery of structured lessons, effective behaviour management and ability to meet the needs of pupils. The ideal KS2 Teacher will be highly motivated, approachable and enthusiastic in order to inspire children to achieve their full potential. The teacher will be able to meet the learning needs of pupils, for example, children with learning difficulties and special educational needs.

The Primary Teacher should be organised, confident at managing behaviour management and able to deliver inspiring lessons. The school has high standards and expectations of their pupils and prioritises creating a supportive environment for both staff and students.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS2 Teacher you will:

  • Be resilient, motivated and confident
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning
  • be able to manage behaviour effectively
  • Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • to hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
