Academics are looking to appoint qualified a Learning Support Assistant to work in Primary Schools across Caerphilly.

What will you be doing as a Learning Support Assistant?
- Learning Support Assistants may be required to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- To support the class teacher in day to day classroom activities.
- To provide various methods of support to pupils with diverse needs.
- To ensure that children maintain engagement with tasks set by the teacher
- To assist with tidying and the provision of learning materials.
- To work flexibly across Caerphilly in various primary schools to cover planned and unplanned absences for sickness, maternity, paternity and training days.
- To be proactive within the classroom.
What will you need to register with us?
- An enhanced DBS check and registration with the EWC (We can assist with this)
- Relevant qualifications to childcare, teaching assistant or SEN.
- Experience within a primary school setting
- Local to or able to commute across Caerphilly
- To complete our FREE safeguarding training
