About the Role:
GSL Education is actively seeking an English Teacher for immediate placement in client schools in Hexham. English Teacher Role:

• Design and deliver dynamic English lessons that cater to the varied learning needs of students.
• Engage students with a diverse range of texts and literary genres to broaden their understanding and appreciation of English literature.
• Encourage creative expression through writing assignments, presentations, and discussions.
• Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect, empathy, and a love for learning.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed in the capacity of an English Teacher.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a degree in English or a related subject area.
• Demonstrate a passion for English literature and language.
• Be welcoming to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
• Exhibit a proactive, energetic, and compassionate approach to teaching.
• Hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check registered to the update service.
