Are you a Digital Skills Tutor looking for additional training programmes delivery to top up your workload?

If so, our large BPO Client are providing an opportunity for a Digital Skills Tutor who's looking to provide their knowledge to the adult education sector, during their busy programme periods!

You will be:

Responsible for the delivery of Digital Skills programmes, delivered by our Client or in partnership with third party training providers and to ensure they meet regulatory and contractual obligations.

Liaising closely with our Clients Learner Progression and Success Coaches, customer impact, data and quality teams, and any supply chain partners delivering training in partnership with the Clients skills team. The tutor will engage with learners to understand their requirements for training, as varying levels of support maybe required.

Delivery will take a blended learning approach which may include face to face and online engagement with learners; unemployed, employed, or undertaking an apprenticeship programme.

Key accountabilities:

  • The role combines elements of curriculum planning, pastoral support, facilitation, and delivery.
  • Support the team in embedding English and maths into the rest of the curriculum, ensuring directives and policies are reflected and implemented in everyday practice
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Digital Skills & Employability to students of various abilities and at different stages in their learner journey
  • Oversee delivery of adult education and apprenticeship digital programs in collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance with Ofsted, contract, and awarding body standards.
  • Conduct both remote and in-person program delivery, involving necessary travel.
  • Assess learners' initial capabilities and needs in English, maths, and digital skills, along with their aspirations and employment status, to tailor support.
  • Keep accurate records to monitor learner progress and meet regulatory requirements by supporting quality and data teams.
  • Contribute to the creation and preparation of learning materials and course delivery strategies with relevant teams.
  • Ensure all teaching materials are prepared and accessible before course commencement.
  • Participate in course scheduling, evaluation, and updates to digital courses, including curricula and delivery methods.
  • Safeguard customer information in line with legal standards.
  • Support the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan and engage in self-assessment activities.
  • Promote learner feedback to enhance program quality.

Skills and Qualifications (Essential):

  • Relevant digital qualifications (e.g., Data Analyst/MI, Digital Marketing, Cloud Computing/IT, coding, cyber security)
  • Minimum L3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • L3 Assessor Award (or equivalent)
  • Experience of designing and delivering digital programmes in the adult education sector (AEB, Bootcamps, etc.), including experience of working within a regulated quality environment (OFSTED, awarding bodies etc)
  • Relevant industry experience in the digital sector (e.g., Data Analyst/MI, Digital Marketing, Cloud Computing/IT, coding, cyber security)

Location:

This is a predominately remote working role. However, there may be a requirement to attend meetings from the clients Solihull office approximately 1 day per month.

Working hours:

This is a zero-hour contract on an ad-hoc basis to support during busier periods.
