We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant within the Southampton area. This is a temporary position with ample opportunity for growth and advancement.

Start date: September 2024.

Two terms (up until Easter 2025).

£85 a day.

Monday – Friday.

You must have experience with KS3 & KS4 students to be considered.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting student’s learning and development. You will work closely with experienced teaching staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students with diverse needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience working with SEN students is desirable, as you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their educational journey, however, the majority of students are mainstream.

You will have the chance to work in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, where creativity and innovation are encouraged. You will assist in providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

You will be offered training and support to help you excel in the role and will have access to a supportive network.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be patient and empathetic, and have a genuine passion for education. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
