Vision for Education is currently recruiting for an RE Teacher to work with our partnered Secondary schools. This is a full-time position, with an immediate start. There is also a strong possibility of the role extending to the end of the academic year.

About the role

As a qualified teacher with a depth of knowledge and understanding of Religious Studies and Philosophy. You will have the ability to tackle difficult questions and provide pupils with insight that can work to challenge stereotypes, promote cohesion, and tackle extremism.

You will be working with a strong and very successful department who is committed to the rigorous study of R.E, and Philosophy as academic disciplines, whilst making them accessible to all.This school boasts excellent behaviour and high academic results.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of RE Teacher you will:

  • Experience of teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Available full time

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
