Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support or small group interventions to students with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to the diverse needs of our students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to supporting students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the classroom environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools).
