Role: Design Technology (DT) Teacher - Textiles Specialist

Location: Berkhamstead (Hertfordshire) 

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: Immediate / September 2024

Key Responsibilities:

ü  Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons with a focus on textiles, fostering creativity and practical skills among students.

ü  Plan and execute dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.

ü  Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves through textiles.

ü  Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and enhancement of the DT curriculum.

ü  Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and achievement in textiles.

Requirements:

ü  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

ü  Specialization or significant experience in textiles within the field of Design Technology.

ü  Passion for inspiring students and nurturing their talents in textiles.

ü  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ü  Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
