An exciting opportunity awaits at our small independent special school in Uxbridge. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Studies Teacher with expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join our committed team on a permanent basis.

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND. Your role will be pivotal in providing a comprehensive and enriching education in business concepts, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons adapted to the individual needs of students with SEND.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and practical application of business concepts.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a cohesive and effective Business Studies curriculum.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities, including those of students with SEND.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support the overall success of the school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialized experience in teaching Business Studies, preferably to students with SEND.
• Proven track record of successful engagement and achievement in Business Studies education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and nurturing educational environment for all students.
