Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Designer to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing training materials, with a particular focus on DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) training. The successful candidate must hold current SC clearance, as they will be working on projects that require handling sensitive information. This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyse learning needs and develop learning objectives.

Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, simulations, and assessments.

Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective and interactive learning experiences.

Utilize various authoring tools and learning technologies to create multimedia-rich content.

Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and accessibility of training materials.

Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.

Requirements:

Proven experience in instructional design, with a focus on DSAT training preferred.

Current SC clearance is essential.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.

Experience working in a defence or government environment is essential
