Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing assistance to individual students or small groups.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs, including those with learning difficulties or English as a second language.
  • Help to manage behavior and promote positive relationships among students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and a desire to support student learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to working with children.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
