Are you an ambitious, innovative and inspirational English Teacher with the drive and talent to help young people achieve excellent results?

My client school are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated English Teacher, who will be required to teach English at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. An additional responsibility payment may be available for suitable candidates depending on experience. ECT’s are welcome to apply for this role.

The school are an 'OUTSTANDING' 11-18 school, with examination results at all levels significantly above the National picture. In November 2019 OFSTED recognised the exceptional education they deliver and stated that "Teaching is outstanding. Teachers know their subjects extremely well and help students to gain knowledge quickly and then use it skilfully and confidently in all their work".

The Department you will be joining is passionate about inspiring students to achieve their best, and in sharing their enjoyment of the subject with students of all abilities. The successful applicant will contribute to an already diverse and experienced department in raising standards even further and will ideally be confident in teaching at all key stages whilst having a commitment to participating in the many extra-curricular activities that the department offer.

• QTS with an English specialism
• Experience teaching English up to KS4 / Key Stage 4
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
