Interventions Primary SEN TA

TimePlan Education are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to run interventions with Primary school children, on a 1:1 basis. Your role will be to lead Maths and English activities that cater to the academic needs of the children and you will be working across KS1 in the mornings and KS2 in the afternoons on a full-time basis with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.

The school is a Primary SEN school in Ealing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.

Job Responsibilities

• Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties.
• Ability to engage and support pupils in KS1 and KS2.
• Assist with personal care if needed.
• Supervising pupils' behaviour.

Job Requirements

• Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
• Calm and empathetic.
• Good behaviour management.
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
• Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
