Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development and training sessions
Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

The role involves working during school hours and may require occasional participation in after-school events or meetings. The teacher will be based in a classroom setting and expected to adhere to school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
