A fantastic opportunity has presented to work part-time in a 'Good' single-form entry school in Hyde, Tameside. This part -time Year 5 role will be 3 days a week and will begin May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The school will consider applications from ECT's as well as those with more experience, but unfortunately on this occasion, cannot support the ECT induction. About the Role

As the Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for the progress of approximately 15 pupils within a one-form entry school. The children are mainly working below age related expectations so you will be required to differentiate tasks to support a group of lower level learners and accelerate progress over the course of the rest of the year.

As the Year 5 teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on mutual respect and encourage a sense of ownership and accountability of learning
• Support with an element of planning for the class which is stimulating and caters visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners
• Use a range of assessment strategies to review, report and reflect on daily practice to inform future planning and improve educational outcomes.
• Ensure activities are relevant, meaningful and prepare children to be global citizens of the future.

Essential Requirements for the role:

-You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
-Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
-Have the legal right to work in the UK.
