Vision for Education are working with a school in Wigan to appoint a Design and Technology Teacher

This is dependent on the role, experience and responsibilities in the school and will be discussed at the interview stages.

About the role

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in design and technology for KS3 and 4 students. They will support students through their progress in schools whilst managing the classroom and behaviour effectively and creating a productive and safe environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Design and Technology Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
  • The ability to teach to GCSE standard Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
  • Strong behaviour management
