KS1 Teaching Assistant

• Position: Full-time, Y1 Teaching Assistant
• Start date: April 15th 2024
• Pay: £1800 - £2100 per month

An impressive, vibrant, Ofsted Outstanding primary school in beautiful Kensington are looking to recruit a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their wonderful school community. Role:

As a full-time, KS1 Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part to the daily running of the Year 1 class room. You will be expected to play a crucial role in assuring that the students are given the support they need, be it on a 1-1 or group basis. Candidates with previous experience of working within the classroom are encouraged to apply as this role requires knowledge of how best to support the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional guidance
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers to create stimulating educational resources
• Contribute to the overall welfare and progress of pupils

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a classroom setting OR a recent graduate eager to dive into the education sector
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting children's learning
• Availability to work full-time from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Long-term commitment to this full-time role from April onwards
