Are you a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher currently looking for new role?

GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently seeking for qualified and experienced Linguists to work as Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client Secondary schools in Sheffield. The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP.


About the Secondary Teaching role:

• Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach
• Specialist subject as French, Spanish or German to GCSE; A-Level experience is desirable, but not essential.
• To maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of teaching on the subject and language.
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values, ethos and vision
• Setting and marking of regular homework

 
 
About the Candidate:

• Be a qualified Secondary Teacher / Key Stage 4 (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
• Must have previous experience as a MFL Teacher in a Secondary School
• Understanding of teaching, learning and assessment strategies
• Will collaborate within the MFL team to contribute to the department's success
• Have an understanding of the curriculum and factors contributing to the learning experience of pupils
• Must have an enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education
