Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside this busy primary school based in central Manchester. We are currently seeking a HLTA to join this busy team from April 2024.

We are currently seeking a HLTA, available to join this friendly setting from April 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be working with pupils in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis. As a HLTA you will covering whole-class teaching responsibilities during the Class Teachers PPA time and will ultimately be responsible for raising achievement with key pupils ahead of exam season.

This is a dynamic and fluid role in a supportive and friendly school environment, located in central Manchester within proximity to Levenshulme, Longsight and Fallowfield. The expected salary range for this role is between £80-100 per day, depending on experience.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to have significant experience as a Teaching Experience. Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification as a minimum. However, applicants without a qualification but with significant experience within the field are also encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        Suitable qualification: for example, a Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher. Or significant classroom based experience within a similar role

-        Confident in managing a classroom during PPA time

-        Comfortable in providing intervention and booster materials to small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
