Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a dynamic Christian faith high school based in the north Manchester area. We are currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join this friendly team from April 2024.

We are currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join this busy school until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a Class Teaching position, including marking and planning. As a Computer Science Teacher you will be working with pupils of mixed ages and abilities, using strong differentiation skills and classroom management techniques.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Computer Science teachers and ECT’s alike. The school is based in the north Manchester area, within proximity to Failsworth, Monsall, Littlemoss, and Manchester City Centre. The expected salary range for the Computer Science Teacher role is between £140- 190 per day, depending on experience.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


-        Confident in delivering the Computer Science curriculum to pupils of mixed ages and abilities


-        Available to start quickly after the Easter holidays and available until the end of the school year
