We are seeking Nursery Assistants for a Nursery school based in Wakefield, these are full time roles working between 8:15am - 3:40pm, Monday - Friday starting after the spring break.

We are working with a nursery school in the heart of Wakefield, and they are Ofsted rated "OUTSTANDING". The Nursery are a welcoming environment, fostering the growth and development of each young child. Children are encouraged to play freely to develop their interests and practitioners work to develop their skills and implement activities appropriately.

About the Role:

This role consists of working in collaboration with the other practitioners to create a calm and engaging learning environment where the children can free play with appropriate resources. You will be expected to implement appropriate activities in line with the different areas of the EYFS. As a team you will need to make sure that the activities you are providing are varied, giving the children a chance to develop a range of skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the planning and implementation of activities in line with the EYFS.
• Keeping accurate records of assessment including observations and outcomes of activities.
• Using a range of different resources to foster the children's interests and accessibility to each activity.
• Contribute to daily cleaning routines, keeping a sanitary environment for the children and staff.
• Support with personal care tasks where necessary.
