An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Year 6 teacher in Derby. 

A large primary school with an excellent reputation in Derby is seeking to appoint a Year 6 teacher to start work with immediate effect. The post is initially on a week by week basis, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right Year 6 teacher.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with excellent classroom management, who teaches with an enthusiastic and nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning. The school is looking to take on a driven Primary Teacher on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position. The successful applicant will be working across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensure the successful Year 6 Teacher will be supported and developed from day one.

Applicants need to have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• KS2/ Key Stage 2 experience
