Based in Chingford, Greater London our client is looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. Candidates will need to have experience of working with children under 5 years of age and a real passion for early years.
Person Specification:
NVQ Childcare qualification at level 3
Experience of working with children under 5 years of age
Knowledge EYFS statutory framework
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Some of the responsibilities of Nursery nurse will include:
- Adhering to nursery Policies & Procedures.
- Compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage, planning age appropriate activities.
- Effectively working as part of a team.
- Key worker responsibilities, keeping of development records and observations.
- Keeping accident, medication and risk assessment records.
- Participating in parent evenings, and children’s outings.
- Attendance of staff meetings as arranged by the Nursery Manager.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
