Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay rate: £85-£100 per day

This role is for a highly achieving secondary school located in Hackney. The most fitting candidate would be finalised  based on a trial and interview with the school.

We need you to have the following set of documents-

• The Right to Work in the UK
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
• Two professional child related references

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting will be an added advantage

• Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills and the understanding of inclusion, making all learners feel acceptable and promote the idea of inclusive learning
• Capable to understand and implement the school’s behaviour policy, the SEN Policy and the code of conduct including the issuing of rewards and sanctions within the academy’s policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in undertaking observations for assessment of SEN children
