The Role: Music Teacher (KS3 - KS4) 

Location: South Shields 

Start date: ASAP 

Pay Scale: £140 - £210 per day (DOE)

Type: Long-term

A Music Teacher is required for an amazing secondary school in the South Shields area.  You will deliver Music to Key Stages 3, 4.  This is a full time Music Teacher role which will begin ASAP and is ongoing, with a possibility of one year. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal candidate would:

•Have good classroom management skills

• Have a passion for teaching Music

• Have excellent subject knowledge

• Be able to organise themselves

• Be able to plan effective, engaging Music lessons.

We are keen to hear from both experienced Music teachers or ECTs. To apply for a Music teaching position with TeacherActive you must hold QTS or QTLS.

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
