                                                                                            Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Location: Lewisham

                                                                                               Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Regular School Hours 

                                                                                               Daily Rate: £77 - £115 (Dependent on experience) 

Are you a dedicated professional with a commitment to enhancing the educational journey of children? Do you possess proven experience in supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Protocol Education is currently seeking a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant for opportunities in Lewisham. We are looking for candidates who have a track record of working effectively with SEND students, either on a one-to-one basis or within small groups.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Resilience and adeptness in overcoming challenges
  • Compassion and patience when working with students with SEND
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Immediate availability to commence work

Role Overview:

  • Provide personalized support to individual students with SEND
  • Foster a nurturing environment conducive to social, emotional, and educational development
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to develop and implement tailored learning and care plans
  • Monitor and document student progress, reporting findings to the school's SEN team and ensuring targets are met

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
