Permanent EYFS - KS2 Teaching Assistant needed in Sunderland.

The Education Network is working with a school in Sunderland who are looking to employ a permanent whole school teaching assistant. The candidate would ideally start in September 2024 but there is a possibility of an early start for the right candidate.

This position is to work full time.

Overview of the role of Teaching Assistant:
- Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities.
- Assist with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management.
- Daily reports on learners' progress and barriers to learning.
- Interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis
We would love to hear from people who:
- Passionate champions of students with SEND
- At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment.
- Have strong English and Maths skills.
- Would like the opportunity to support students outside of a mainstream environment.
- Would like the opportunity to progress within the school and obtain career focused professional qualifications.
- Actively contribute to school safeguarding and welfare procedures

Salary would be negotiated with the school directly based on experience.
