The school is looking to take on a determined and passionate Science teacher to join their forward-thinking and innovative team. The successful applicant will be working alongside key stage 3/ key stage 4 teaching English and must be able to educate their students through engaging and dynamic learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that nurture practical skills, scientific inquiry, and a love for the natural world.
• Cultivate a supportive learning environment that encourages hands-on experimentation, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the wonders of science.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and practical development in science.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the science department.
• Actively participate in science-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
