Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £80 - £90 per day

They are dedicated to providing the best possible support for students with special educational needs and disabilities and are seeking a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND, assisting them with their educational and personal development.
• Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, promoting independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students with SEND.
• Support students with personal care, mobility, and other daily activities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities is desirable but not essential.
• A caring and patient demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to the diverse needs of students with SEND.
• Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with special educational needs and disabilities would be advantageous.
