As an Art Teacher at this school, you will be provided with state of the art facilities and a new part of the school dedicated to the Arts. The school have a strong belief that the Arts play a pivotal role in ensuring pupils become well-rounded members of society. The school are looking for an Art Teacher who is happy to contribute and participate in extra-curricular activities such as school productions, art club and art competitions. Given the schools strong ethos surrounding the Arts, it would be expected that as an Art Teacher, you collaborate with other Arts departments such as Music, Drama and Design/Technology.
This Art Teacher position is due to commence from the 15th April until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of rolling over into a long term contract from September.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Art or relevant subject
- Child related DBS
- References to cover the last 2 years
