£120-150 per day - Pre AWR (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This SEND Alternative Provision, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, supports children and young people aged 10-18 and is looking to appoint a passionate SEND Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 or 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary SEND Alternative Provision, the desired SEND Teacher will be working with pupils who have complex needs including Autism, Learning Disabilities and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) on a small class basis.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teacher will have;

• - Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
• - Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
• - A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
• - An ability to work as part of a team
• - QTS/QTLS
