Learning Support Assistant For SEN

A fantastic SEN secondary school in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking a dedicated, confident individual to join their team of supportive teaching assistants and teachers. As a Learning Support Assistant for SEN, you will be responsible for working with individuals and small groups of children with SEND/SEMH needs in addition to helping in the classroom.

This is the perfect role for any psychology, sociology or childcare graduates looking to pursue a career in education, mental health, therapy, educational psychology and many more!

About The Learning Support Assistant for SEN Role:

  • £90 - £105 per day
  • Long-Term, Full-Time role
  • Monday - Friday (term-time)
  • Based in Barking and Dagenham
  • ASAP Start

Learning Support Assistant for SEN Job Description:

  • Supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Assisting teaching staff within the classroom.
  • Adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Evaluating performance and progress of students to develop their academic and personal growth.

The Ideal Candidate for The Learning Support Assistant for SEN Role:

  • A graduate with strong academics.
  • Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
