1st Staff are currently recruiting for Tutors who can provide 1-1 tuition in a student's home, community centres or Library. The role will be to deliver both therapeutic and education sessions with students with a range of SEN and behavioural needs.  

The ideal candidate should have experience delivering 1-1 tuition, a strong background in education and working with children/ young adults with a variety of SEN. Ideally have experience delivering core subjects. - Hours Varied, between 09am – 4pm.  

  • Location: - Havering  

  • Working hours – Maximum 8 hours per week – Flexible working hours 

  • Start date – Immediately  

  • Hourly rate – £18 – £25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.   

  • On going placement  

Experience Required   

  • Working with a range of SEN 

  • Deliver core subjects up to GCSE’s 

Duties  

  • Provide 1:1 Tuition in a therapeutic way   

  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment  

  • Provide mentoring to help students build confidence and overcome challenges
