A fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join my client in a local school to support SEND children in their education and development. This fantastic opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with children with special educational needs in a classroom setting, on a 1:1 or group basis.

🧡 The Successful candidate should:

• Have previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
• Must be flexible and adaptable as you may be required to work with various students with different needs.
• Have a level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant or the equivalent.
• Have confidence working with children on a 1:1 or small group setting.
• Aspiring Teachers undergoing their degree will also be considered.

 

🧡 SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team when supporting the school staff in their day-to-day duties safeguarding the children.
• Utilize your experience and qualifications when supporting children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities.
• Support children on a 1:1 or small group setting.
