Qualiteach North West are currently seeking an outstanding Behaviour Support / Sports Coach to join a thriving school for children with special educational needs.

The role will be working within a special school supporting students who have a range of needs including ASC, SEMH and other additional needs which can create a barrier to learning, offering them emotional support, sports classes and using a range of behaviour management strategies to enhance pupil engagement and create a safe, secure classroom environment.

We are currently working with a number of excellent partner schools, creating a range of opportunities in the areas of Trafford, Salford, Clifton and Greater Manchester.

You will need to be able to quickly build rapport with young children who are often disengaged with education by being empathetic, enthusiastic and eager to support them.

What you will need:

· To have worked with learners with a range of needs – it does not matter if this is not strictly school-based experience!

· The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods and behaviour management techniques.

· To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time.

· A passion for working with children with special educational needs so you can enjoy each day and bring them a smile!
