We are recruiting for a Preschool Assistant / Nursery Practitioner for an outdoor Forest School day nursery based in Poynton.
Full and part time roles available, working 2-5 days, 8am - 4.30pm.
Suitable for experienced level 2 or 3 Early Years practitioners..
Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner / Preschool Assistant:
- Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery/private day care setting as a practitioner.
- A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) or above or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
- An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures.
- Good communication skills, approachable, confident and caring with a passion for working with nursery children.
- Excellent team player.
This role involves mainly working outdoors as the nursery is a Forest School.
