1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistants required for Southwark Secondary School.

Teaching support are excited to be working with a large Secondary School in Bermondsey in Southwark.

We are recruiting on their behalf, looking for two 1:1 SEN Learning Support TA’s, for 2 children with ASD and SEMH.

A fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys and understands children with behaviour issues and can relate with them on a personal level.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £425 - £475 per week, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.

Requirements of the role are:

• Supporting a child with SEMH in a 1:1 setting.
• Supporting a child with Autism in a 1:1 setting.
• Using your experience of effective behaviour management, being particularly understanding due to the background situation of the child.
• Any restraint training with in date certification is advantageous.
• Support the child with relevant resources and daily planning, this includes making them feel comfortable (organising their daily belongings) for example.
