The role: Nursery assistant

You will be working within a mainstream primary school in Barnet supporting in an EYFS classroom as a nursery assistant. For this role you will need to be fun, energetic, empathy and patience to help support children and young people. You will help support the class teacher to plan and supervise fun and educational activities.  Observe children’s progress and think of reasonable next steps, monitor, and support with challenging behaviour, assisting with personal care, help students to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and storytelling. Must have GCSE’s within enflesh and maths or equivalent, NVQ, CACHE or BTEC level 3 childcare, Voluntary experience working within mainstream primary schools.
