Nursery Manager – Ibstock

Are you an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager with a passion for early childhood education and a proven track record of driving success?

Now Education are recruiting an experienced manager for a Nursery in Ibstock. This role is full time and the ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.

The Nursery has a welcoming and friendly environment for children to achieve excellence through play and learning. They aim to ensure the atmosphere enables all children to feel valued, secure and included.

Job Responsibilities

• To create a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning.
• To lead the nursery
• To maintain timely, accurate and appropriate records regarding nursery staff and children
• Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
• Update parents and carers on children's progress.
• To ensure the children have a safe, stimulating and enriching learning environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to deal with a variety of people
• Attention to detail – high level of accuracy
• Full responsibility of recruiting staff and developing the nursery team.
• keep records and create reports.
• Responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children between 3 months to 5 years in accordance with statutory requirements
• manage a budget.
• Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional
• make sure safety and child protection regulations are met.
  
  Experience
• Experience of preparation for successful outcomes of quality reviews such as OFTSED inspections
• Ability to supervise planning and delivery for care and education of young children
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within allocated budgets
• Have a minimum of a level 3 childcare qualification: NNEB / NVQ or equivalent
• Have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a Day Nursery
• Have at least 2 years experience of leading and supporting teams
