Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team on a day-to-day basis in Goole. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education to gain valuable experience in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Provide support to students with their learning, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Follow the school's policies and procedures regarding behavior management and safeguarding.
• Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to provide feedback on student progress and any issues encountered during lessons.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior in a calm and effective manner.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the school community.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate of £90 - £100.This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in education and make a positive impact on the learning experiences of students.
