Behaviour Mentor - PRU -Brent- Immediate start - £90-£110 a day

Teach360 is currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant PRU behavioural team. Ideally, the Behaviour mentor should have experience working with young people who exhibit challenging behaviour's.

  • Behaviour mentor who enjoys working with children with SEN, ASD and SEMH needs
  • Behaviour mentor who can start working immediately
  • Earn £90 to £100 a day depending on experience
  • Behaviour mentor able to work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4pm
  • Behaviour mentor who has experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Behaviour mentor who can think quickly on their feet
  • Behaviour Mentor who is a strong role model
  • Team teach trained desirable

About the role - Behaviour mentor -Brent

Behaviour Mentors will have the opportunity to work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Severe Mental Health needs. This position requires enthusiasm, passion, and a desire to assist children with their specific needs in order to be successful. It is inevitable that you will have to work at a rapid pace when dealing with challenging behavioural situations with children. The role of a behaviour mentor will require you to work both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, you will provide assistance to students with their personal needs as well as their academic studies. This can be done through interventions.

About the PRU- Behaviour Mentor - Brent

This is an amazingly wonderful PRU that specialises in fostering the development of young people with special needs including SEN, ASD, and SEMH. With this PRU's emphasis on teamwork, you will feel right at home since you will have staff around you to support you on your journey. Students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education are taught in small groups according to the national curriculum in this PRU.
