Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive biology lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, share best practices, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behavior.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialism in Biology with a strong academic background in the subject.
• Experience teaching biology in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and the school.
