Community Nursery Nurse

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a NHS Trust based in London to recruit an experienced Community Nursery Nurse on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- To attend and actively participate in team, locality and other relevant meetings.
- To be responsible for the care and safe keeping of equipment issued for personal use and to report any defect or loss.
- To carry out activities of the Healthy Child Programme as delegated by the Health Visitor within the team in accordance with agreed protocols, acting on own initiative as appropriate to level of knowledge.
- To advise parents/carers on positive parenting skills including understanding and managing child behaviour, introduction to solids and nutrition, play and stimulation, speech and language development, sleep management and toilet training, ensuring that advice is evidence based to facilitate school readiness.
