The Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of Key Stage 2 students. Working as the head of the classroom, they will lead engaging and immersive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners. Their creativity and passion for teaching will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the KS2 classroom, designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Develops and implements differentiated learning plans to address individual learning styles and support students' academic progress.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional well-being of all students.
  • Actively engages students in learning activities, encouraging participation and enthusiasm in their educational journey.
  • Collaborates with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic and supportive approach to students' development.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working within the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum.
  • Proven track record of effectively teaching and supporting older children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs, with the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the diverse needs of each Key Stage 2 child.
