The Role:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students. Working as the head of the classroom, you will facilitate engaging and immersive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of young learners. Your role will involve creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported and inspired to explore and learn.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a creative approach to lesson planning. With a focus on fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development, you will be dedicated to supporting children's growth and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EYFS classroom, creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for young learners.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and inclusive approach to learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate their development.
  • Support children with additional needs, including those on the autism spectrum, by providing tailored interventions and support strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies for young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young children.
  • Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to supporting children's emotional and social well-being.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorders, is desirable.
