The Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant specializing in intimate care, you'll work closely with the head of the classroom to support the personal needs of our youngest learners. This full-time role involves providing sensitive care to children who require additional support, ensuring their well-being and comfort throughout the day.

Ideal Candidate:

We're seeking individuals with experience in intimate care and a passion for supporting the holistic development of young children. The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as kindness, compassion, patience, and empathy, essential for creating a nurturing and supportive environment in the early years.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with our dedicated EYFS educators to provide compassionate care to children with additional needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Implement tailored support plans to address the personal needs of each child, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment within the EYFS setting.
  • Create fun and immersive learning experiences that engage children and promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work closely with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care and development.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills and promoting independence while fostering positive relationships and a sense of belonging.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with young children in an educational or care setting, particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Experience in intimate care and a sensitive approach to meeting the personal needs of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with our dedicated teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child in the EYFS setting.
