The Role:

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant specializing in interventions, you'll work closely with the head of the classroom to support students who require additional assistance. This full-time role involves facilitating targeted interventions to address the unique needs of each child, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the head of the classroom to implement tailored interventions for KS1 students with varying educational needs.
• Employ dynamic teaching methodologies to engage students and address their unique requirements, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Actively participate in classroom activities, ensuring the participation and enthusiasm of each child in their educational journey.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and colleagues, ensuring a holistic and cooperative approach to each child's development.
• Support students in maintaining focus, overcoming challenges, and achieving their full potential academically and emotionally.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with children in educational settings, particularly within Key Stage 1.
• A background in interventions, demonstrating the ability to implement effective strategies to support student development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child.
